WRITING WORKSHOP (two-week series)*
(For this workshop, you must have taken a previous class with Writing Class Radio.)
Classes will be held on Wednesdays
July 11th + 18th, 2018
at Writing Class Radio's Retreat Center, a private house in Coconut Grove
Classes WILL NOT BE RECORDED!
$60 each class
In this 2-part community workshop, each week will be devoted to one aspect of craft and style. Andrea and Allison will start each class with a writing lesson and discussion of a published piece. Also in class each week, students will write and workshop each others stories. There will be an option for a third, more intense class.
Week 1. How to start your story, ground the reader, use details.
Week 2. Show AND tell, build stakes, how to end your story.
This class will NOT be recorded.
