Performing an essay out loud is not as easy as writing and editing. There are specific tips to making a story told out loud sound amazing. You can rehearse, but knowing the structure and when to pause could be the difference between boring and insane. Andrea Askowitz knows how to lose a Moth competition (She’s lost plenty.), but she has recently figured out the secret to winning.
Join Andrea for a 90-minute workshop where you will hear the tips necessary to kick ass. You will also have an opportunity to craft a story out loud and learn where you could be more precise.

This is a class for anyone looking to become a better writer or storyteller. All participants should come prepared to write and share. Students will be given a prompt meant to unearth what’s lingering below and needs to come out. This class is for beginners and seasoned writers. Bring your genius. Bring your heart.
Students will hear ten rules for writing a story meant to be both read and told out loud. All stories will be workshopped before moving on to another prompt. JOIN OUR CLASS...you are guaranteed to leave feeling like an artistic geniuses. Or at least, inspired.
