Writing Class Radio will be on hand to facilitate writing true stories about personal identity in collaboration with Exile Books and Special Collections. The ID Project, a program of Exile Books, is a series of “identity salons” that invite visitors to tackle identity from a wide range of angles, including gender, sex, culture, race, politics, age, and socio-economic status. Special programs will address the various themes of identity, and complement the Lowe’s dynamic exhibitions currently on view, all of which speak to the notion of identity. As Walt Whitman said: “We contain multitudes.”
